• Durch die Einführung der Bauproduktenrichtlinie und der nationalen Umsetzung in das Bauproduktengesetz kam es zur Erarbeitung einer ganzen Reihe von europäischen Prüf- und Anforderungsnormen für Straßenbauprodukte. Dazu zählen auch die Erhaltungsbauweisen Oberflächenbehandlung und Dünne Asphaltdeckschicht in Kaltbauweise. Dieser europäische Normungsprozess wird kontinuierlich weitergeführt. So sind vor allem bei der Bauweise Dünne Asphaltdeckschicht in Heißbauweise auf Versiegelung neuere Aktivitäten zu verzeichnen, aber auch die älteren Prüfnormen stehen vor ihrer regulären periodischen Überprüfung. In naher Zukunft wird mit der Bauproduktenverordnung ein neuer europäischer Rechtsakt erscheinen, der möglicherweise eine zusätzliche Dynamik in den Prozess bringt, der momentan noch nicht absehbar ist.
• The introduction of the Construction Product Directive and its national implementation as the Construction Product Act led to the development of a whole series of European test and requirement standards for road-building projects. This includes construction maintenance methods like surface treatment and slurry surfacing. This European standardisation process is being continued. New activities are taking place, in particular with regard to thin hot asphalt surfaces for sealing, but also older test standards that are close to their regular revision dates. In the near future, the Construction Product Ordinance will provide a new European law that might provide additional dynamics to this process. The subsequent development can currently not be predicted.
