N2  - The author reports on a revised version of the handbook on socially responsible and handicapped-friendly road space design of the roadside environment. The aim of this handbook is to record the current national and international regulations and recommendations, standards and investigations and to make them able to be used in road space planning suitable for the handicapped, a major factor in enabling many handicapped and elderly people to be mobile.
