N2  - Seit Änderung der Fahrerlaubnisverordnung im Jahre 1999 erstellt und veröffentlicht die Bundesanstalt für Straßenwesen (BASt) die Jahresstatistik der medizinisch-psychologischen Untersuchungen (MPU). Im Jahre 2001 führten die 15 aktiven Träger der bundesdeutschen Begutachtungsstellen für Fahreignung insgesamt 112.583 medizinisch-psychologische Untersuchungen durch, circa 5 Prozent weniger als im Jahre 2000. Der Beitrag informiert unter anderem über Begutachtungsanlässe, stellt Vergleiche zu den beiden vorangegangenen Jahren her und diskutiert Gründe für Veränderungen.
N2  - A. Knoche summarises the results of the annual statictics on medico-psychological tests. The BASt has been compiling and publishing these annual statistics since the amendment to the Driving Licence Ordinance in 1999. In 2001 the 15 active sponsors of the Federal German Agencies for Expert Evaluation of Driver Aptitude (Bundesdeutsche Begutachtungsstellen für Fahreignung) carried out a total of 112,583 medico-psychological tests, about 5% fewer than in 2000. The paper provides information inter alia on grounds which lead to expertises being drawn up and also compares the statistics with those from both the previous years as well as discussing reasons for changes.
