T1  - Performance of articulated vehicles and road trains regarding road damage and load capacity
N2  - In the framework of the OECD study "Moving Freight with Better Trucks", several vehicle combinations which are worldwide in operation were examined regarding different performance criteria. One criterion was the road wear performance of these articulated vehicles. With given tyre and vehicle data (mainly weights and axle loads) the road wear performance was calculated for each vehicle combination. The method according to COST 334 is presented and the vehicle combinations are compared
