N2  - Das in den vergangenen Jahrzehnten zu beobachtende und auch für die Zukunft anzunehmende Wachstum der Gütertransportleistung auf den Bundesfernstraßen sowie die allmähliche Einführung von Funktionsbauverträgen, die dem ausführenden Bauunternehmen die Verantwortung für sein Bauwerk über Jahrzehnte in die Hand geben, lässt die Frage nach der Nutzungsdauer von Straßenbefestigungen zunehmend in den Vordergrund treten. Für die Oberbauweisen aus Asphalt werden zur Ermittlung eines Substanzwertes, auf dessen Basis gleichfalls eine Bemessung wie auch eine Restwertbestimmung durchführbar sein soll, zum einen analytische Berechnungsverfahren, zum anderen Verfahren, in denen Ergebnisse aus Ermüdungsversuchen vergleichend bewertet werden, verfolgt. Letzteres Verfahren, das vorrangig für die Bestimmung der Restsubstanz einer bereits langjährig unter Verkehr liegenden Asphaltbefestigung angewendet werden soll, wird im Folgenden vorgestellt.
N2  - The determination of residual life of flexible pavements becomes more and more the focus of attention due to past and predicted future freight traffic increases and due to the implementation of functional building contracts. The important point in functional building contracts is, that the building companies take the responsibility of their work for up to thirty years. The assessment of the structural substance of flexible pavements forms the basis for the determination of the remaining service life as well as for pavement design. For the determination of a so called substance mark two different approaches are pursued: on the one hand a theoretic approach based on analytical (calculation) methods and on the other hand a practical approach based on the comparison of fatigue test results. The practical approach of comparative fatigue tests should be primary used for the determination of remaining service life. This approach is presented in the article.
