Die in der IDS enthaltenen Literaturhinweise umfassen Forschungsberichte, Bücher, Fachzeitschriftenartikel, Konferenzberichte, Dissertationen, Normen und Richtlinien, außerdem werden laufende Forschungsprojekte dokumentiert.
N2  - The author informs about tasks and methods of the International Road Research Documentation (IRRD). The aim of this global data base is to collect, co-ordinate and disseminate all information in the field of road and transport research. The literature references contained in the IRRD include research reports, books, articles from specialist journals, conference reports, dissertations, standards and regulations; current research projects are also documented.
